ADVANCED FAULT TOLERANCE SOLUTION Our AFTS system
brings fault tolerance to the Microsoft Windows™ NT world, providing
both constant availability and protection from data, hardware and software
failures. The AFTS switching feature also permits system maintenance
with no system downtime.
AFTS is modeled on systems our own Frank Roark successfully put on minicomputers years ago. An Advanced Fault Tolerant Solution system is in operation at the Monitor-Merrimac Memorial Bridge Tunnel in Newport News, Virginia, and VDOT plans to retrofit it into the Hampton Roads and Elizabeth River Tunnels, replacing their Marathon systems.
