The Midtown Tunnel Traffic Management System
is a key component of 
the
Pinners Point Interchange Project in Virginia's tidewater area, connecting
Portsmouth's Western Freeway with the Portsmouth Marine Terminal and providing
access to both Norfolk and Portsmouth under the Elizabeth River.
The project includes
central hardware and software design, along with development and integration
of the Midtown Tunnel Traffic Management System. ATC's innovative design also
includes a LCD Map board as a cost and space saving solution to a limited
area Control Room.
